i've moved...

well i managed to get away from deviantart...but sadly they make it almost impossible to 'clean' yourself outta here...come on guys, it's my work so i should be able to close my account whenever i want to!

anyway, i've decided to keep this as a way of sending out some love to the many wonderful artists i've met on here, and maybe meet some new ones. it's too bloody complicated to put stuff on here AND myspace, so if you're curious then head on over to...

oh thats cruel...a story?! for you?!...i've read your journals remember, and frankly i couldn't write like that for toffee.
as for London, well she's treating me ok at the moment. i'm working at a studio thats all about animation, visual effects etc and meeting a fair few cool people. (i say cool, but i don't mean 'trendy'...theres an awful lot of marketing types and they're all very dull and beautiful) i'm having to REALLY fight to draw, as most people think i'm a cave man for not going totally digital...and fighting for something seems to remind you of it's value.
we're looking at opening a studio in New York next year, so i may even be crossing the pond...feel fear...the brits are taking it back!
anyway, hows you? whats your story from the past year? x

Wow, it really sounds like things are going well for you! That's great! :D I totally hear you about fighting for the old ways of the dinosaur. I applaude you for doing so! I've been clinging on to film for dear life. I am a proud cave woman. It makes you sort of think about people... and why they're so quick to move on and forget about what came before it. All right, now I'm getting all philosophical, lol...

New York, huh? That would be truly interesting. You'd be the hot Brit with the accent. Watch out. The girls here will jump you so fast, lol.

I've been okay. (This feels weird to be writing so much on your wall here, lol). I was named a finalist in a national photo contest, I won a scholarship and I'm now a weekly columnist for my college newspaper. Nothing too exciting has happened... I'm still going to university in Chicago, but man, I am so ready to retire.

Thanks for the story! You are wonderful storyteller, by the way. You can write for toffee and possibly some money. :P Feel free to shoot me an email some time.

hey chick! haven't heard from you in a while. it's bloody good to see that you've been hard at work since i last took a peek. (quality stuff my dear, as always)
i took my junk off a while back, and pretty much decided to call it a day. i haven't really had the time to start uploading, and this whole internet thing is a tad too addictive, especially for reclusive hermit types like moi. it's also not the place to put work up if you're no good at recieving shitty comments from nasty buggers...as i quickly learned!
anyway, just managed to get back from live8 tonight and was in the process of emailing some photos to a mate of mine who will be SO massively jealous! he he he. thought i'd check up on DA and see if anyone was doing anything exciting.
anyway, if you get the chance, and feel the inclination, give me an update on how your doing...had any photos printed in time yet?
